The Excellent Customer Service Management Techniques Course was attended by 40 police officers from the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) in the Lecture Room of the Kuching City Mosque. The course was held on August 20 and 21, 2022.

The organization of this course is based on several objectives. Among them is to train and empower the security team on the importance of customer service including effective techniques to handle customers. In addition to improving the service of the security department and giving the best image for LAKMNS.

Participants were also educated and trained on the importance of providing excellent customer service. Participants were also taught how to improve the communication process, overcome communication barriers, and improve the quality of information received.

This course was conducted by Tuan Haji Azmi bin Haji A. Bakar from Comfori Sdn. Bhd.

August 5^th 2022 - A brief ceremony took place to hand over the basic needs of mosques and suraus from the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) to several mosques and suraus in Kuching, Samarahan, and Serian. This contribution from LAKMNS is based on requests from mosques and suraus in response to their specific requirements.

Mosque equipment and necessitites such as standing fans, rolling mats, rehal tables, Tafsir al-Quran, public address systems, and al-Quran shelves were among the donations made by the Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS YBhg. Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai.

Among the mosques and suraus that received donations are Musolla, SMK Tebakang, Jalan Mongkos, Masjid Darul Hasanah, Kampung Selang Ulu, Masjid Darul Imam, Kampung Temaga Melayu, Sematan, Surau Cahaya Islam, Kampung Iboi Laut, Small District of Sadong Jaya, Surau Darul Ikhwanul Muslims, Simunjan District Police Headquarters, Surau Darul Ekhsan, Kampung Jemukan Ulu, Sub-District Sadong Jaya, Masjid Darul Salihin Kampung Tanjung Parang, Surau Hidayatul Muslim, Taman Duranda Emas, Surau Nurul Hijrah, Kampung Bukit Kudi Sungai Tiram Batu Mas.

Also present at this ceremony were the Chief Officers of LAKMNS.

Lebih 500 orang membanjiri venue utama Festival Maal Hijrah 1444H di Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak pada program Malam Cinta Rasul yang berlangsung semalam.

August 11^th 2022 - Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) finally launched the Eco-Friendly Gazebo at the Semariang Cemetery today (TPS).

This gazebo was built as part of the TPS Landscape Beautification Program, which aims to provide convenience and comfort to TPS visitors. Furthermore, the construction of this gazebo is one of the efforts to make TPS a cemetery in the park that is welcoming to visitors.

Aside from being a landscape beautification project, the construction of this gazebo is also part of LAKMNS's environmental conservation initiative, as it utilises solar technology to generate lighting at night, reducing the use of electricity resources.

Furthermore, the unique design is appealing because it is innovative, with each element of the gazebo design serving a specific purpose. For example, a roof design that allows rainwater harvesting (rainwater harvesting) into a gazebo structure tank. This rainwater can be used for visitors' convenience, such as watering plants, washing, and so on.

Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, the Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS, officiated at this brief ceremony. Also present was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr Mohamad Feisal bin Said, as well as the Chief Officers of LAKMNS.

Over 500 people flocked to the main venue of the Maal Hijrah Festival at Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak.

The programme began with a qasidah performance by Musytaq Al-Musthoda and Muhibbin. The famous preacher, Ustaz Ahmad Rizam Ghazali, delivered a special tazkirah on this night.
