Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Salam Sejahtera.

All praise be to Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful. Blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad SAW, His family members, astounding companions, and all those who follow his teaching.

The month of June marks the end of the harvesting season, and our Dayak friends celebrate it with the Gawai celebration. Thus, on behalf of LAKMNS, I would like to wish those who are celebrating this remarkable occasion, "Selamat Hari Gawai, Gayu Guru Gerai Nyamai, Lantang Senang." We wish you a wonderful celebration, filled with happiness, prosperity, and peace.

On behalf of Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak, I would like to extend our prayers and congratulations to His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah on His Majesty's official birthday on June 5, 2023.

For the forthcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha on June 29, 2023, which is associated with sacrifice, let us all make a sincere effort to embrace its meaning and philosophy.

Let us also pray for the well-being of all those who are going to perform Hajj, the fifth and final pillar of Islam and that their Hajj is complete and accepted by Allah SWT.
