17 March 2022 - A brief ceremony was held at the Anjung Utama, Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak, to hand over donations to mosques and surau.
YBhg. Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, Chief Executive Officer, Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak, gave donations to representatives from 10 mosques, surau and schools.
Necessities such as prayer mats, stretchers, and mortuary sinks, sets of mortuary management equipment, fans, microphones, PA systems, and furniture for storing items such as telekung and slippers were among the donations presented at the ceremony. Learning aids such as folding tables, Al-Quran shelves, tazkirah tables, and reclining chairs were also donated.
Also present at the ceremony were the Chief Officers of LAKMNS.
