August 5th 2022 - A brief ceremony took place to hand over the basic needs of mosques and suraus from the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) to several mosques and suraus in Kuching, Samarahan, and Serian. This contribution from LAKMNS is based on requests from mosques and suraus in response to their specific requirements.
Mosque equipment and necessitites such as standing fans, rolling mats, rehal tables, Tafsir al-Quran, public address systems, and al-Quran shelves were among the donations made by the Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS YBhg. Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai.
Among the mosques and suraus that received donations are Musolla, SMK Tebakang, Jalan Mongkos, Masjid Darul Hasanah, Kampung Selang Ulu, Masjid Darul Imam, Kampung Temaga Melayu, Sematan, Surau Cahaya Islam, Kampung Iboi Laut, Small District of Sadong Jaya, Surau Darul Ikhwanul Muslims, Simunjan District Police Headquarters, Surau Darul Ekhsan, Kampung Jemukan Ulu, Sub-District Sadong Jaya, Masjid Darul Salihin Kampung Tanjung Parang, Surau Hidayatul Muslim, Taman Duranda Emas, Surau Nurul Hijrah, Kampung Bukit Kudi Sungai Tiram Batu Mas.
Also present at this ceremony were the Chief Officers of LAKMNS.
