31st March 2023 - Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg officiated Raudhatul Sakinah Complex at Semariang Muslim Cemetery.

The Raudhatul Sakinah Kuching Complex, formerly known as the Semariang Islamic Cemetery Complex (SICC), is a one-stop-centre managed by Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) and located in the Semariang Muslim Cemetery. This complex offers services for bathing, shrouding, and janazah prayer.

This complex offers other amenities in addition to funeral management facilities, including business offices, prayer rooms, multipurpose rooms, restrooms, parking spaces, and so forth. On April 15, 2023, the complex is anticipated to be fully operational on April 15.

11 March 2023 - The Sarawak State Jamek Mosque received a visit from the Indonesian Hajj Brotherhood Al-Arofah 2019 Pontianak West Kalimantan Province.

This group of 50 people was led by H. Edi Ermansyah. According to H. Edi Ermansyah, this visit are aimed at strengthening friendship while learning new things in Kuching.

In his welcome speech, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) Mr Mohamad Feisal bin Said welcomed the arrival of the delegation and hoped that this visit would be a platform to exchange opinions and strengthen friendship between the two parties. He also gave a briefing on LAKMNS and Sarawak State Jamek Mosque.

Also welcoming the group were Chief Officers, Heads of Divisions and LAKMNS staff.

09 March 2023 - Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) Psychology and Counseling Unit organized a Self-Care with Mindfulness Program on March 9, 2023. UNIMAS Research Officer, Ms. Rohani binti Yacob, and Senior Lecturer (Counseling), Faculty of Cognitive Science and Human Development, Mrs. Siti Norazilah Bt. Mohd. Said led the session.

54 LAKMNS employees from various divisions participated in this program, which was held in the Seminar Room, Baitul Makmur II. In addition to introducing the conscious mind and mindfulness's fundamental elements, the program's goal is to introduce "mindfulness" to its participants. Other than that, it also aims to provide knowledge regarding the techniques and applications of mindfulness in daily life.

On March 3rd, 2023, Open University Malaysia (OUM) Kuching hosted the "OUM Strategic Partner Appreciation Ceremony" to express gratitude for the agencies, companies, and other strategic partners that collaborate with and support OUM.

Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) was one of the organizations that cooperates with OUM in providing early childhood education professional training to Tahfiz Tun Abdul Rahman Ya'kub Kindergarten (TATTARY) staff.

Since the last September Semester 2022, a total of 15 TATTARY staff, consist of TATTARY management and teachers have studied at the bachelor's degree and diploma level in the field of early childhood education at OUM which is fully funded by LAKMNS.

This initiative aims to strengthen and raise TATTARY's educational standard. In accordance with government guidelines, kindergarten teachers are expected to possess at least a diploma in early childhood education.

Also present at the ceremony were the Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS, Yang Berbahagia Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai and several senior officials of LAKMNS.
