A total of 58 Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) employees attended the LAKMNS Staff Retirement Preparation Programme, which was held on October 3 and 4, 2023 at the Baitul Makmur II Seminar Room.
Participants include LAKMNS staff as well as Deputy Chief Executive Officers, Chief Officers from each Department, and LAKMNS Division Heads. This programme serves as an introduction to the retirement world.
There are 6 sharing slots that have been carried out. Mental health slots presented by Mrs. Chiew Pei Ching, Counseling Psychology Officer and Mr. Felix Thompson Ak Howell, Assistant Medical Officer who are both from the Kuching Divisional Health Office. In addition, Mr. Ronney Khairuddin, Senior Advisor from the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), delivered the speech. On the second day of the programme, Mr. Abang Mohammed Razali, Senior Executive Officer, Sarawak State SOCE Synergy Unit, delivered a sharing slot, followed by Mr. Haji Madehi, State Marketing Head, Lembaga Tabung Haji Negeri Sarawak, and last slot was delivered by Mrs. Marlene Margaret Nichol, Head of Branch,Credit Counseling and Management Agency (AKPK) Kuching.
The closing ceremony was held on the final day of the programme and was completed by Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap Bin Haji Abang Julai, Chief Executive Officer, LAKMNS.
