In conjunction with this year's Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, LAKMNS held a Sinar Syawal Ceremony for LAKMNS staff. The ceremony was held at the Borneo Convention Centre in Kuching and was attended by the CEO, Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, and his wife, Datin Hajah Dayang Horieh Binti Abang Zainuddin. The presence of 600 people, including staff and their family members, energised the vibe of the ceremony that night.
In his speech, Chief Executive Officer conveyed his optimism that the event would strengthen friendships between staff and family members.
Several events took place that night, including the 2022 and 2023 baby and bridal showers, the handing over of duit raya to the staff's children, and the Gen Z Fashion Show. The guests were also entertained by fascinating performances by LAKMNS staff representatives from various departments.
