April 7, 2023- Haflah al-Quran was held at the Sarawak State Mosque Jamek in conjunction with Nuzul Al Quran and was organised by Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS).
In this programme, three Qari were showcased who have achieved success in the national and international Al-Quran Recitation competition. They are Ustaz Awangku Omar (2009 National Recitation Champion Champion), Dr. Anuar Hasin (2013 International Recitation Champion), Ustaz Safwan Mahali (2012, 2018, and 2022 Sarawak State Recitation Champions).
8 April 2023 - Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) Haflah al-Quran event continued with the presentation of three Qariahs: Ustazah Farhatul Fairuzah (Johan Tilawah International 2019), Hajah Amnah Ayup (Johan Tilawah International 2007), and Ustazah Nur Syakura Mohamad Musa (Johan Tilawah Negeri Sarawak 2017–2019–2022).
