02 APRIL 2022- Sarawak Mufti Sahibus Samahah Datu Haji Kipli bin Haji Yasin reminded Muslims to do tadabbur al-Quran as one way to liven up Ramadan.
He revealed the reminder while delivering the tazkirah at the Sarawak State Jamek Mosque during the Ihya 'Ramadan Briefing Ceremony organised by the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS). Representatives from mosques and surau from around Kuching attended the programme.
He further said that through tadabbur al-Quran, Muslims are not only encouraged to understand and practise the teachings of the Quran, but also to improve their reading skills, because reading is part of Allah SWT's knowledge.
Soon after, a tahlil recitation was held, led by Sarawak's Chief Imam, Sahibul Fadhilah Dato 'Haji Mustapha Kamal bin Haji Ahmad Fauzi. LAKMNS Deputy Chief Executive Officer Encik Mohamad Feisal bin Said, LAKMNS Chief Officers, and senior LAKMNS officers were also present at the ceremony.
