21 March 2022 - YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, Sarawak Premier, paid a visit to the Galeri LAKMNS in Bangunan Baitul Makmur II.
The gallery was built on the initiative of the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak to reinforce the delivery system as well as provide a facility for visitors to Baitul Makmur II. It was finished by the end of 2021. The gallery's main focus is on traces of LAKMNS's founding history as well as business information. The timetable of LAKMNS's programmes and activities is also displayed.
The gallery is open to the public every Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Accompanying the Premier of Sarawak who is also the Chairman of LAKMNS is the Honorary Secretary of LAKMNS, YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Abdul Aziz bin Dato Hussein, Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS YBhg. Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai, as well as Board Members, and senior management of LAKMNS.
