26 Feb 2022 - Mosque Connect program of the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) 2.0 was continued by choosing Surau Khairul Amal, Surau Taman Sepakat Jaya, Masjid Darul Iman Kampung Senari, and Masjid Baru Demak as stopover destinations.
The cycling started as early as 6.30 am at the Sarawak State Jamek Mosque led by LAKMNS Chief Executive Officer YBhg. Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai and was joined by 82 cyclist.
The cyclists also performed the Dhuha Prayer at the Darul Iman Mosque in Kampung Senari, followed by a Dhuha lecture delivered by the Assistant Officer of Islamic Affairs LAKMNS al-Fadhil Ustaz Rohaizat Rejab.
Hopefully, this cycling event can strengthen friendship and strengthen the brotherhood among Muslims as well as foster a healthy lifestyle.
