HI-TEA EVENT

A Hi-Tea event was held on August 16, 2024, at the LAKMNS Gallery, Baitul Makmur II, to honor the Book Publication Committee of "Menelusuri Kegemilangan" by LAKMNS.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS), this event was organized to celebrate the committee members and editorial board who contributed to the completion of the book "Menelusuri Kegemilangan." In his speech at the event, he also expressed his gratitude to all the committee members who were involved in the production of this book.

The book publication committee consisted of staff from Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS) as well as representatives from several agencies and organizations, including Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Sarawak Museum Department, National Archives of Malaysia Sarawak Branch, Department of Information Malaysia, Unimas, Sarawak State Library, Old Kuching Smart Heritage (OKESHe), and the Sarawak Malay National Association (PKMS).

This book, published by LAKMNS, contains the historical timeline of the establishment and development of mosques under LAKMNS's management, including Kuching City Mosque and Sarawak State Jamek Mosque, as well as the progress of LAKMNS itself. The book also highlights information about LAKMNS's transformation and achievements since its inception.

Also present at the event were Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mohamad Feisal bin Said, directors and agency representatives, LAKMNS senior management, and members of the publication committee.
