CEO MESSAGE

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Salam Sejahtera.

All praise is due to Allah SWT. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, his family, and his noble companions

On behalf of the Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (LAKMNS), we extend our heartfelt birthday wishes to His Excellency the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar. We pray that His Excellency Tun Pehin Sri will be blessed with continued good health, well-being and wisdom in leading our beloved Sarawak.

In shaa Allah, this month will see another significant event, namely the organisation of Maulid Akbar 4.0, which will be held from 22 to 24 October 2026. A diverse range of programmes and activities has been lined up throughout the three-day event, involving contributions from the non-governmental organisation Persatuan Munawarah, as well as Masjid Bandaraya Kuching and Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak, before culminating in the main event at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK). Further information on the programme can be accessed through the LAKMNS Facebook platform and TV IRIS.

The organisation of this event reflects LAKMNS’ continued commitment to fostering love and devotion towards our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, while further strengthening mosques and Islamic institutions as platforms for fostering unity among the ummah, disseminating knowledge, and nurturing noble values within the community.

May all the efforts and achievements of LAKMNS continue to be strengthened and advanced, enabling us to deliver the best possible service and meaningful contributions to the community.

YBhg. Datu Haji Abdul Hadi bin Datuk Haji Abdul Kadir

Chief Executive Officer,
