Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh dan Salam Sejahtera.

Allah,The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful, is due all praise. Blessing to the Prophet Muhammad SAW,His family, his associates, and all who adhere to his teaching.

Now, we joyfully and gratefully welcome the arrival of Syawal.

Happy Islamic New Year 1447H to everyone. May this new year mark a meaningful beginning for all of us. The Hijrah is not merely a change of dates but a deep reminder of transformation towards goodness, sacrifice, and determination to strengthen our faith and good deeds. Let us reflect upon and embrace the true spirit of Hijrah as exemplified by our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW in building a society rooted in comprehensive Islamic values

I would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the Festival Maal Hijrah 1447H/2025 (FMH 1447H/2025), whether directly or indirectly involved. Your commitment and support are deeply valued.

A special note of thank goes to The Right Honourable Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusuf, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) whom represented by YB Datuk Hajah Sharifah Hasidah binti Sayeed Aman Ghazali, Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department, for graciously attending and officiating the Closing Ceremony of FMH 1447H/2025. Her presence brought great honour and encouragement to our efforts.

Indeed, this festival not only commemorates the momentous Hijrah of the Prophet SAW but also fosters unity, encourages love for the mosque, and empowers the mosque as a vibrant centre for community development.

LAKMNS in the meanwhile welcomes any form of collaboration from government agencies, private sector entities, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and the public at large to support our future initiatives. Such joint efforts are essential to strengthen the role of mosques in the development of our community.

In closing, let us remain steadfast in supporting the mission of dakwah and welfare, for the greater good of all.
