Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak is committed to ensuring that the youth always approach mosque institutions. This matter was stated by the Chief Executive Officer of LAKMNS YBhg Datuk Haji Abang Abdul Wahap bin Haji Abang Julai in his speeches on the Prize Giving Ceremony.
The Prize Giving Ceremony was held at Masjid Jamek Negeri Sarawak also attended by Deputy Executive Officer Encik Mohamad Feisal bin Said. LAKMNS intends to host this event annually given the encouraging participation. This program is in line with the establishment of the Mosque Youth Brigade.
The two-day program, which began on February 19, has received cooperation from the Sarawak Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development, Youth and Sports Department, Sarawak e-Sports Association, Sayas E-Sport, and Future Gaming. The competition organized in conjunction with this carnival is PUBG Mobile and EA Sports FIFA22 and managed to attract a total of 158 participants among local teenagers and youths aged 16 to 29 years.
Highlight of the ceremony, YBhg. Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap also presented prizes to the winners.
